I like this picture because my dog lily's tongue is hanging out after a long run.  I prefer the picture with color more than the one without it.  I took this picture with an ipod 4th generation in the middle of the day with natural lighting.

Current event #8

Seven-year-old Jonah was born with glycogen storage disease, a rare liver disorder that only affects one in a million children.  Jonah's best friend, six year old dylan wanted to help his best-friend find a cure for his rare disease.

Dylan decided to  help Jonah by writing and selling a book called 'Chocolate Bar' which is an expression Dylan uses to describe happiness.  Dylan has raised $30,000 for Jonah's care.

I like this picture because the sky looks really cool with the clouds in it.  I dislike this photo because of the roof in the right top corner.

I like this photo because it represents love.  I dislike this photo because you can see the cabmet in the bottom of the photo.  I took this on valentines day with an iphone.

Current Event #7

Above is Ashlee Arnau

 Ashlee is a cheerleader at William Carey University in Hattiesburg Mississippi.  She made the most incredible half-court shot of this years college basketball season.

She has tried to make a half court shot with a soccer-style flip throw at every home basketball game since Christmas.  She is a 21 year old in the junior class.

She had been close to making every shot, but she finally made it this past Thursday.  The whole crowd went crazy and she was ecstatic that she made the shoot.

I like that the school in the back is out of focus and the flowers are in focus.  I dislike that the flower bush is not evenly across the bottom. I took it with a school issued camera in the morning with natural lighting.

Current Event #5

This is the ex-cop that is being searched for.

The man above, who is an ex officer, is being searched for after "going crazy".  He shot, and killed another police officer and a pair of soon to be newly weds.  He sent another police officer to the hospital in intensive care, and shot at two more, but they got away.

There has been a massive man hunt in three states and Mexico.  No one knows what he will do next after he promised to bring warfare to police and their families.

There is no telling where he is at this point, but the hunt will continue.

Reflection: i like that the sun is coming through the bushes.  I dislike that he grass is brown in some spots.  this was taken at the kenny soccer practice fields in the morning of february on a school issued camera with no flash and natural lighting.

I like this picture because you can see the bubble and the sun coming through the right side of the picture.  I  dislike that the pool is cut out.  It was taken at about 2 p.m on a saturday, with natural lighting.

This picture was taken in the morning before school.  It is of Ethan Yates playing a song on his guitar.  The girl in the picture is Gabi Nobles.  I like that it is a clear picture, but i don't like that her hair is tucked behind her backpack.  It was taken on an iphone with the flash off.

Current Event #4

A group of inmates on a prison work crew dove into cold water to save three brothers whose canoe flipped.  They were finishing up their work for the day when they heard kids scream.  They thought it was just a kids being a kids and screaming until they saw two heads bobbing in the frigid Washington state river.  The boys were of the ages 8, 10, and 16.  The men jumped right into the water to help the boys, who were very thankful.  After the event, the three boys and two inmates were taken to a hospital with mild hypothermia.  One of the inmates then said, Just cause we're incarcerated, doesn't mean we're bad people, we make some bad choices in our lives, but we're still just like everybody else.
