Ben Baltz's story

Ben Baltz was diagnosed with bone cancer in his right leg at the age of six and had to have his leg amputated.  At the age of eleven, he competed in the Sea Turtle Tri Kids Triathlon.  During the running portion of the race, a screw in his prosthetic leg came loose and that led to his prosthetic leg breaking in half.  Marine Matthew Morgan couldn't just stand on the side lines and do nothing, so he carried Ben on his back for the rest of the race while other marines ran by their side.  At the end of the race Ben told his mother that he was embarrassed that he could not finish the race by himself, but his mom reassured him that that day was an inspiration to people everywhere.
